Accra, Oct. 12, GNA - The following is the level of water in the Akosombo Dam as issued by the Management of the Volta River Authority on Monday, October 12, 2009.

Current Level (October 12, 2009)       - 268.90 feet


Previous Level (October 11, 2009)       - 268.75 feet


Rise in water level           - 0.15 ft.


Same time last year    (October 12, 2008)  - 264.10 feet


Maximum Level           - 278.00 feet


Minimum Level           - 240.00 feet
