Fred Swaniker

Meet Fred Swaniker, co-founder and CEO of Africa Leadership Academy (ALA); a vibrant, intellectual young man originally from Ghana, now domiciled in South Africa.  Fred is passionate about moving Africa forward by training and equipping the next generation of her young leaders for this purpose.

In this interview, Fred talks about the African Leadership Network, a venture that is preceded by two other initiatives of his - the ALA and Global Adventures.

Fred's projects target potential leaders under age 40.  A view shared by many in the African community, about his approach to help develop Africa, is that the projects' young graduates  have already started making positive impacts on various aspects of life on the continent.
