Ghana Wesley Methodist Church, USA, mourns with the Asafu-Adjayes

Memorial service in honor of James Barfour Boakye Asafu-Adjaye and Mrs. Mary Naana Boatemaa Kufuor

This past Sunday, October 15, 2006, The Wesley Methodist Church in Arlington responded to the  grief of the Asafu-Adjaye family with a memorial service. It was, as described by Rev. Dr. Kwasi Kwakye-Nuako, a service meant to console the family branch in the USA.  Mrs. Victoria Wright (Victoria Akosua Asafu-Adyaye), the matriarch of the Asafu-Adjaye’s family in the US and her husband Dr. Albert Wright of World Bank fame, both stalwart members of the church, and other members of the family, were supported in their grief by the presence of many friends from the community.........read story.
