.Sylvester Senyah, 33, was stabbed to death in Leyton, east London, on Monday 29 November, 2010. (Sylvester’s parents are of Ghanaian origin).


He was attacked by two men in Capworth Street at around 3.20pm and died shortly after arrival at hospital.


A police spokesman said: "At this early stage, officers retain an open mind as to any motive.


"It appears that the deceased was stabbed during a fight with two other men."


The suspects are described as black men aged in their 20s or 30s and around 5''11 in height.


Officers are also keen to trace the victim''s car, a black VW Golf with alloy wheels and a silver grille.

A man has been charged with the murder of 33 year-old Sylvester Senyah in Leyton, east London.


Mr Senyah was stabbed to death during a fight in Capworth Street at around 3.20pm on Monday, 29 November.


He died shortly after arrival at hospital.


Simeon Smith, 33, [14/1/77] of Walthamstow, east London, will appear in court on Monday.

Officers from the MPS Homicide & Serious Crime Command are appealing for witnesses and information following a murder in Leyton.

Police were called at 15:20hrs on Monday, 29 November, to reports of a man stabbed in Capworth Street E10.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A 33-year-old man was taken to the Royal London Hospital where he died shortly after arrival.

The victim has been formally identified as Sylvester Senyah, aged 33, of the Leyton area.

A post-mortem examination will be held at 14:30hrs on Tuesday, 30 November, at Walthamstow Mortuary.

At this early stage, officers retain an open mind as to any motive. It appears that the deceased was stabbed during a fight with two other men.

The two suspects made off on foot. Both are described as black men, aged in their 20s or 30s and between 5'10 and 5'11 in height.

Officers are also keen to trace the victim's car. It is a black VW Golf, believed to be an R32 model with alloy wheels and a silver grille. There have been some arrests.
Enquiries continue.
