I belong to all the political parties, President Mills

Accra, Oct 20, Ghanadot - President John Evans Attah Mills has said, now that elections are over, he is for all the political parties and promised to share the national cake equally among Ghanaians without taken into consideration one's political affiliation.


The President said this yesterday at Kwahu-Mpraeso as part of his tour in the Eastern.


Though he arrived late at the function due an equally important function the President attended at Donkokrom in the Kwahu North District, hundreds of resident of Kwahu Mpraeso waited patiently in the night to welcome the President and not even the Black Satelite match against Brazil in the under 20 world youth championship would pushed the crowd off.


Presidnt Mills said, with the elections over, it is imperative for Ghanaians to burry their diffrences and come together with a common goal of developing the country.


He revealed that, the nation would soon see a light at end of the tunnel as the government strives to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
"By the time we finish serving our four year term, Ghanaians themselves will add another four to us as we are going to put things in place to for the development agenda of the government to take off", he assured.


President Mills however called on Ghanaians to have a little bit of patience.


For his part, the Benkum-Hene of Kwahu, Nana Onini Afari praised the Presient for keeeping to his word of becoming father for all.


He appealed to the President to construct some of the deplorable roads in the area and also provide them with good drinking water. Nana Afari further called on the President to properly equip the police personnel in the area and provide them with decent accomodation.


Among the President entourage were, Mr Kwasi Ahwoi, Agric Minister, Joe Gidisu, Minister for Roads, Mr Antwi Bosiako Sekyere, deputy Minister for Employment and Social Welfare and host of party dignitaries.
