Apologies to our readers, writers and all

Accra, Feb 6, Ghanadot - For the past few days, we have gone through a horrifying experience of being shut down by our ISP without appropriate reason.

Our site was taken off the web because, it was discovered that someone of a mischievous and foreboding mindset had high jacked the stem of our email address, @ghanadot.com, and was using it to send out tons of spam messages.

In other words, this rascal (or rascals) is pretending to be us, when he is not.

Fortunately, after a frustrating two days stretch, we got rid of the problem and now we are back.

We know we have a distinct voice for a Ghanaian on line publication. We are approaching 400,000 hits a month, but that’s no reason for someone to take us off the internet.

We believe in fair competition. However, should that someone find our distinct voice too much, then the most profitable approach would be to gear up and come for the ride with us; bringing us, this time, his legitimate and reasonable ideas for publication.

Otherwise, it is no use trying to shut us down by generating internet abuse with our address, because we will always be back.

After a year of the NDC government I think I’m now feeling the real change....More
