GOC launches four-year sponsorship initiative

Accra, May 14, Ghanadot/GNA – The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) will on Friday, May 15, launch its innovative four-year sponsorship plan for future International Games.

 

The event dubbed ‘the Mega Olympic Night’ is slated to come off at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra is however strictly by invitation.


The sponsorship plan is geared towards forthcoming International Games including Youth Olympics in Singapore 2010, Commonwealth Games in Delhi 2010, All Africa Games in Maputo 2011 and London Olympic Games in 2012.


A statement signed by Frank Appiah, First Vice President of the GOC copied to GNA Sports said the highlight of the event will be an award to GOC Sponsors, fund raising and a special International Olympic Committee (IOC) award to a sporting media personality.


The event will be attended by crème dela crème of Corporate Ghana, the Diplomatic Community, Olympic family, Government Officials and the Sporting Media.
