Hearts wish Ashgold best of luck

Accra, March 13, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has sent a goodwill message to the management and players of Ashgold Football club as they embark on their up-coming crucial second leg 1/16 CAF Champions League encounter against FAR of Morocco in Rabat this weekend.

In a goodwill message signed by Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the Hearts copied to the GNA Sports it said even though Ashgold are going into the encounter with a 2-0 advantage, they should do everything in their power to eschew all forms of complacency.

“It is very re-assuring that you have traversed a similar path before and we hope you shall continue to wait on the Lord so as to renew your strength and mount up with wings like eagles as you strive to win laurels for Ghana”.

The message said as Ghana’s lone ranger and only surviving club in the CAF MTN championship league, “it is important for you to know that you never walk alone.”

It called on all Ghanaians to pray so that the Club will triumph over their opponents with a respectable win at the weekend to forge ahead in the competition.

Ashgold beat FAR of Morocco 2-0 in the first leg at Obuasi a fortnight ago and they come face to face in the second leg in Morocco to decide who goes into the final eight stage of this year’s Champions League.
