Selected local players invited for camping

Accra, March 01, GNA – The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has requested the local players invited to form the local component of the senior national team, the Black Stars to report immediately for camping at the Wangara Hotel in Accra on Friday, March 2.


A release issued by Mr Alex Asante, International Relations officer of the GFA copied to the GNA Sports said the scheduled camping is from Friday, March 2nd to march 9th, 2007.


The 50 invited players are made up of George Owu, Fatau Dauda, Wakaso Bukari, Anthony Baffoe, James Tagoe, Alfred Arthur, Jonathan Quartey, Davis Telfer – Ashgold, Sulemana Abubakar, Daniel Coleman, Francis Bossman and Moses Andoh – Hearts of Oak, Isaac Ankrong – All Blacks, Patrick Antwi, Osei Addai, Kojo Asamoah, Bawa Mumuni and Rabiu Mohammed – Liberty , Louis Quainoo Yahaya Mohammed, Ekow Benson and Edward Afun – Tema Youth, Kwaku Essien and Eric Agyeman- Faisal, Kwame Obeng Darko, Isaac Vorsah, Osei Kwame and Edmund Owusu Ansah – Kotoko, Daniel Addo, Alex Djannie and Kwabena Yaro – Power, Eric Bekoe, Sadat Bukari, Appiah Ofosu and Osei Banahene – Lions, Paul Aidoo, Daniel Ocran, Delilu Abdulai, Samual Inkoom, Quaison Fredrick and Ellis Samuel – Hasaacas, Habib Mohammed – Club-less, Hamza Abdulai- Sportive, Akwesi Soale- RTU, Francis Darko - Bofoakwa, Emmanuel Clottey, Emmanuel Ansong – Olympics, Francis Aggrey – Arsenals and Yaw Frimpong – Feyenoord.
