Seven to appear before Status Committee

Accra, Jan 23, GNA – The Player Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited eight players and club officials to appear at its sitting on Thursday, January 25 at the GFA secretariat.


A statement signed by Emmanuel Gyimah, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA named the players as Kelvin Quarshie and Emmanuel Dankwa both of Highlander FC, Enoch Odamtey – Fortuna Babies, Joseph Barnor – King Solomon FC and Emmanuel Koomson – Proud United.


The rest are Daniel Tweneboah – Maxbees United and Abdul Razak Nakoli – Gt. Africans F/C/Ebony Int. FC and Akwasi Peprah Gold Stars to appear next week.
Also to appear are Sekondi Eleven Wise FC and Sekondi Hasaacas.


Meanwhile, the FA’s Disciplinary Committee has summoned twelve clubs, officials and players to appear before its sitting on Thursday, January 25.


Those invited are Arsenals FC, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bofoakwa FC, Alhaji Yakubu Moro, CEO of Arsenal FC, E.B. Adubofuor – Match Commissioner, Reginald Lathbridge – referee, Hearts of Oak and Power FC.


The rest are Nathaniel Quaye, player of Power FC, Capital Sports, Zum F.C., Global Soccer Academy (Accra) and Felix Osei Antwi – player of Bofoakwa FC.
All have been urged to endeavour to attend and be punctual too.
