Pastor seeks divine intervention for
President
Accra, Dec. 2, Ghanadot/GNA- Apostle Schambach Amaniampong,
Overseer of the Christian Redemption International Ministry
(CRIM), at the weekend called on Christians to pray in order
to counteract plans by the devil to strike the political
leadership of the country with tragedy.
He told Ghana New Agency (GNA), during an Ordination Service
of the Church that there are countless demonic plots against
the President and the Vice President to wreck havoc on the
political scene, hence the need for intensive prayers to nip
it in the bud.
Apostle Amaniampong said the recent motor accident that
involved President John Agyekum Kufuor, should not be given
secular interpretation, since the projection was spiritual.
" The devil through his agents is targeting the President
and the Vice President and they need our prayers."
He said there was also the need for prayer warriors to get
active to secure the nation for the Lord for the 2008
General Election and the Ghana 2008 African Cup of Nations.
Apostle Amaniampong said as usual a number of fatal
accidents had been planned by the devil during the Christmas
holidays through reckless driving and alcoholism and
Christians must therefore watch and pray.
Over 200 students of the Schambach School of Ordination, the
Schambach School of Prophets, the Spiritual Warfare
Institute and the School of Impartation were ordained at the
ceremony bringing to over 3,000 people trained by the church
so far.
Apostle Amaniampong asked the graduates to walk in
righteousness and should be God- fearing.
Prophet Bernard Opoku-Nsiah, General Overseer of CRIM, asked
the graduates to seek the direction and inspiration of the
Lord in all their activities.
He said spiritual greatness came from God through
instructions and obedience.
Professor Lawrence Addai Mensah, of the College of Health
Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology, who chaired the function, asked the graduates to
find practical and spiritual solutions to the problems of
Ghana.
He tasked Christians to address the scourge of HIV/AIDS in
practical terms " and not play the ostrich."
