Kyebi (E/R), Oct. 6, Ghanadot/GNA - Bishop of
the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church,
Right Reverend Francis Benjamin Quashie, has
called on electorates to reject politicians
whose activities create division among
Ghanaians.
He said it was not enough to just listen to what
politicians preached, but to watch them closely
and analyse their actions beyond the speeches on
the platform.
Bishop Quashie said this when a GH¢100,000 new
Church building called Kyebi St. Mark’s Anglican
Church at Kyebi, was consecrated and dedicated
on Sunday.
The principal celebrant of the service was the
Most Rev. Dr. Robert G. A. Okine, Archbishop
(retired) of the Province of West Africa.
Bishop Quashie said the first thing in life was
not to seek personal wealth, but to seek the
face of God in everything one does and with
that, God in his own wisdom and through many
ways would bless one with riches.
He expressed the appreciation of the Anglican
Church to the members of Kyebi St Mark’s
Anglican Church and many others, who supported
them to put up the new building.
Rev. Fr. Robert O. Ankrah, Minister-in-charge of
the Kyebi Parish of the Church, said the new
building started in 1999 but was redesigned in
2004, after a technical evaluation.
