Telecom cables is on the increase in the Hohoe Municipality
with no week passing without reports of such occurrence, the
Company has said.

estimated at more than GHc50,000 had been stolen since
January this year.

recorded as much as 15 cases of such thefts and accounting
for 10,800 metres cable.
Mr Seglah said four juveniles were arrested in two separate
operations in April this year for stealing the company’s
cables and that the case had been transferred to the
Department of Social Welfare because of they were minors.

lack of vehicles for patrol duties was a challenge facing
the police but reassured that his outfit was co-operating
