First Lady Laura Bush addresses the
press on Africa
Washington, D. C, July 25, Ghanadot - First Lady Laura Bush
will address the media today in a speech titled, "Why
Africa." In it she will discuss her recent trip to the
continent and the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS
Relief.
The address will take place
during a luncheon at the National Press Center in
Washington, D. C and will be open onlly to the members of
the press..
The luncheon begins at 11:30
a.m. and at noon, Mrs. Bush will make remarks and answer
questions.
This event will be the club's second luncheon featuring Mrs.
Bush, who last visited the club on Nov. 8, 2001, in the
aftermath of the 9-11 attacks.
