DFP and CPP Flagbearers take campaigns to Volta Region

Ho, July 18, Ghanadot/GNA- The Flagbearers of the Democratic Freedom Party, (DFP) and the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) are scheduled to tour parts of the Volta Region beginning today, Friday July 18, to Tuesday July 22.


The DFP's Mr Emmanuel Asante-Antwi's five-day campaign tour begins up north at Kpassa in the Nkwanta -North Constituency and ends on Tuesday July 22, at Akatsi in the Ave-Avenor constituency down south.


A programme signed by Mr Michael Gamor, Regional Organizer of the Party said Mr Asante-Antwi would be introduced to the chiefs and people, meet chiefs and address rallies, and also outline his vision.


The Convention Peoples Party's (CPP), Dr Paa Kwesi Ndoum would also tour the three Tongu Constituencies; North Tongu, Central Tongu and South Tongu, from Saturday 19, July to Monday 21 July, a programme signed by the Party's Administrative Officer, Mr Albert Klu indicated.


The programme said Dr Ndoum is expected to meet chiefs in those three constituencies and hold a meeting with the Party's Constituency Chairmen and Organizers from the 22 constituencies in the region at Juapong, on Monday July 21.
