Mills starts first phase of
Central Region tour
Accra, July 14, Ghanadot/GNA - The leader and Presidential
Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),
Professor John Evans Atta Mills, begins a tour of the
Central Region on Tuesday.
The NDC leader would be in his home region throughout the
working week, visiting Upper Denkyira East, Upper Denkyira
West, Hemang Lower Denkyira and Ati-Mokwa constituencies,
according to a statement issued in Accra by Mr Koku Anyidoho,
Head of Communications of the Prof. Mills' Office.
The statement said the NDC leader would unfold his agenda of
building a "Better Ghana" through investing in people, job
creation, building a strong economy at the national,
regional, district, and community levels, infrastructure
expansion and operating an honest, open and transparent
government.
Prof. Mills, who is currently in Kumasi, where he has
inaugurated the Ashanti Region Zongo Caucus, would enter the
Central Region through the Ashanti Region.
He would pass Obuasi with his one-on-one retail campaigning
on Monday, July 14, before moving into the Central Region.
Professor Mills' running mate, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, is
also in the Brong Ahafo Region with the NDC's "Better Ghana"
agenda.
