Government says Awuni's resignation not true
Accra, April 20, Ghanadot/GNA- Mrs.
Oboshie Sai Cofie, Minister of Information and National
Orientation, on Wednesday denied speculations in the media
that Mr Andrew Awuni, Presidential Press Secretary has
resigned.
Mrs Sai Cofie said at the moment, Mr Awuni was on an
official media outreach tour to the Northern, Upper East and
Upper West regions and was in constant touch with the
Presidency and her Ministry.
"We wish to use this forum to dispel any rumours making the
rounds that he has resigned and assure the general public
that they are completely unfounded," she said in a press
release issued in Accra.
