Volta Region DFP gets regional executives

Ho, April 01, Ghanadot/GNA- A 15-member executive of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), were on Tuesday inaugurated to oversee the affairs of the Volta Regional branch of the party.


The regional executives, who were all elected unopposed at the regional conference in Ho has Mr Gershon Komla Quicy Ayih, a retired civil servant as the Regional Chairman.


Mr Ayih commended delegates to the conference for the decision to retain all acting executives at post to enable the Party to make more inroads into the camp of the NDC in the Volta Region.
He urged members and sympathizers of the Party to support the Party leadership to wrest power from the NPP to bring back hope to Ghanaians.


Miss Laurencia Kpatakpa, Volta Regional Director of the Electoral Commission of Ghana supervised the election and wished the Party success in the December elections.


Members of the executive include; Mr Johnson Robert Dabo, 1st Regional Vice Chairman, Mr Anthony Darvordzi Klutse, 2nd Vice Chairman, Mr Manfred Nuku-Dei, Regional Secretary and Mr Shine Aryee, Deputy Regional Secretary.


Others are Mr Michael Gamor, Regional Organiser, Mr Michael Agortse, Deputy Regional Organizer, Mr Wisdom Dafeamekpor, Regional Youth Organizer, Mr Randy Favour Motte, Deputy Regional Youth Organizer and Mr Alfred Yao Deletsu, Regional Public Education Officer.


The rest are; Mr. George Momade, Deputy Regional Public Education Officer, Miss Edna Mortey, Regional Women Organizer, Miss Ernestina Boatemaa, Deputy Regional Women Organizer, Miss Gladys Etse, Regional Treasurer and Miss Patience Abiti, Deputy Regional Treasurer.
