Take advantage of BAC to grow your
business

Asante-Akim South District Officer of the Business Advisory
Centre (BAC), has called on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME)
and artisans to take advantage of the services of the BAC to
expand their businesses.
He said the BAC was designed to provide professional
expertise and financial assistance to SMEs especially in the
rural areas and urged such entrepreneurs to work in
collaboration with the centre in order to maximize profit.
Mr Aikins said this at the graduation of 11 hairdressers at
Juaso. It was organised by the Juaso branch of the Ghana
Hairdressers and Beauticians Association (GHABA) and the
third edition since the association was formed in the
District.
He said government recognized the contribution of the
private sector to the national economy hence the
introduction of various credit facilities aimed at
empowering the private sector to be vibrant.
He said under the Rural Enterprises Project (REP), the BAC
had organised training workshops for youth groups in the
district and most of them had established their own
businesses.
Mr Aikins appealed to the graduates to cultivate the culture
of book-keeping and savings as they established their own
businesses.
Mrs Christiana Dentaa, President of the association,
commended the graduates for their dedication and hard work.
