GOIL loss pushes down index

 

Accra, Jan. 9, Ghanadot/GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, of the Accra Bourse fell 3.33 points pushed down by GH 0.0100 cedis loss by the Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL).

 

The index closed the trading session on Wednesday lower at 6,621.09 points compared to 6,624.32 points at the previous close.


Change year to date also dipped from 0.37 per cent to 0.32 per cent. 

 

Traded volumes, however, went up slightly ending at 117,400 shares from 100,800 shares.


There were two price changes - a positive and a negative.    


CAL Bank gained 0.0004 GH cedis at 0.4555 GH cedis. GOIL went down by 0.0100 to close at 0.3000 GH cedis.


Market capitalisation dropped marginally at 12,381.68 million GH cedis from 12,383.66 million GH cedis.
