DCE urges use of publicity vans to
educate public on socio-economic development policies only
Twifo Praso (C/R), July 9, GNA - The
Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Chief Executive, Mr
Samuel Agyeibie-Kessie at the weekend tasked staff of the
Information Services Department (ISD) to use their mobile
publicity vans to disseminate government polices toward
socio-economic development.
He said the department should help maintain the existing
peace in the country, sustain programmes like the National
Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as well as effectively
explain the benefits of the Capitation Grant and the School
Feeding Programme to the people.
Mr Agyeibie-Kessie was addressing an ISD team on its last
leg of a three-day educational campaign on re-denomination
of the cedi in the district.
He commended the government for procuring publicity vans for
the district and urged the ISD staff to reciprocate by
discharging their duties efficiently.
