Don’t wash your dirty linen in public - NPP members advised

Kumasi, Feb. 11, Ghanadot/GNA - The Council of Zongo Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has admonished members of the party, especially the leadership, to desist from washing their dirty linen in public.

The elders also advised well-meaning activists against rushing to the press to address issues, adding that, they must use the party’s internal structures to settle disputes and misunderstandings.

This was contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Baba Braimah, Interim Chairman of the Council and issued in Kumasi on Tuesday.

It noted that the performance of the NPP in the recent general election was not that bad as to warrant “bashing and internal wrangling from members.”

The statement said it was high time the NPP supporters buried their differences and took stock of the party’s challenges in order to strategize for success in future.
