By Abdul Salam Sule, Ghanadot

Accra, June 5, Ghanadot - The head pastor of Destiny Life International Church, Reverend Sarfo Adu has said, pastors are partly to be blamed for the low moral standard and behavior among some of the youth in the country. This he said was because, some of the pastor are over concentrating on prosperity message at the expense of the core mandate of leading people to Christ.

He stated that, the negative lifestyles of today's youth such as armed robbery, alcoholism and 'sakawa' demand an urgent attention from the church to bring to situation to the barest minimum.

"Pastors of today should change their messages of prosperity and preach salvation to save the nation of the horrendous behavior among some of the youth", he said.

Rev Sarfo Adu who made these remarks at the first anniversary celebration of the Destiny Life International Church also appealed to parents to to desist from cursing their children at the least provocation. He said, such utterances ultimately affected the children when they grow up.
