Buy Made In Ghana Products.Ndoum
By Abdul Salam Sule, Ghanadot

Accra, March 17, Ghanadot - Dr Paa Kwesi Ndoum, the Presidential candidate of the Convention People's Party in the 2008 Presidential elections has called on Ghanaians to buy made in Ghana products.

This, Dr. Nduom said, would save Ghana's economy from the world economic crunch.

He said, as a matter of urgency, he has instructed all his companies in the country to patronise local materials for production, saying it was an example set for other local companies to emulate.

Dr Ndoum said this in an interview with section of the media in Accra today.

He has also called on the government to come out with a stimulus package to strengthen local industries to face the global financial crisis.

He said, the stimulus plan would be in form of putting in place disincentives on the importation of goods into the country to promote the purchase of locally manufactured goods.

Dr Ndoum noted that, the government could provide low interest credit to farmers as another stimulus package for the agricultural sector.

"The world economic recession provides the country with an opportunity to domesticate our search for a permanent solution to our economic problems and the government should act now", he observed.
