Pratt replies Rawlings
Audrey Micah, Ghanadot

Accra, April 1, Ghanadot - The Managing Editor of The Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwasi Pratt, has hit back at ex-President Rawlings for describing President Mills as weak and slow.

Speaking on Peace FM, Mr. Pratt said, ex-President Rawlings was wrong to tell President Mills what to do. He said Ghanaians voted for President Mills but not for Rawlings so he should leave the President alone.

According to Pratt, the ex-President wants President Mills to rule according to his (Rawlings) style and dictates that is why he is talking that way.

He further revealed that, ex-President Rawlings attacked ex-President Kufuor the same way and now wants to do the same to President Mills.

Mr. Rawlings accused President Mills of having failed to deliver on his promise of providing dynamic leadership for the nation, adding that the President Mills had surrounded himself with people who were taking advantage of his slow approach to the running of the state.

But Mr. Pratt said, the country does not need a “dragon or lion” President, we need a President who will use the constitution to rule.

Ex-President Rawlings told the media that President Mills was not ensuring dynamism in his governance and was very slow and weak in decision making.

Mr. Pratt described Rawlings' statement as an unjust attack on President Mills and his administration and asked Mills to take his time to rule.
