 US Congressional Delegation departs Ghana

Accra, Aug 20, Ghanadot - The Five member US Congressional delegation and officials that visited the country has left for South Africa on the final leg of its three Nation African Tour.

 

The Congressmen from the House of Representatives Committee of Commerce Trade and Consumer Protection was led by George Kenneth Butterfield.

Whilst in Accra, the delegation held discussions with President John Atta Mills as well as the Ministers of Finance and Economic Planning and Trade and Industry. They also participated in a round-table on Ghana’s competitiveness which was hosted by US and Ghanaian business leaders.
