Tipper truck driver dies in accident at Konongo
Konongo (Ash), June 19,
Ghanadot/GNA - A driver of a tipper truck,
Christopher Sambonah died instantly when his vehicle
collided with an articulated truck loaded with floor tiles
on the outskirts of Konongo on Tuesday.
Another person on board the truck, Prince Wala, had his
right foot chopped off and was admitted to the Agogo
Presbyterian Hospital together with two occupants of the
articulated truck.
Sergeant Edward Oduro Kyei of the Konongo Division of Motor
Traffic Transport Unit told the Ghana News Agency that the
cause of the collision could not be immediately established,
adding that the police hoped to get a clue from statements
of the survivors when they recover.
