Vice President Mahama returns from SENSAD meeting

Accra, May 31, Ghanadot/GNA - Vice President John Dramani returned home on Saturday from Libya where he attended the 11th Ordinary Summit of Community of Sahel Saharan African countries, otherwise called SENSAD.


Briefing the media on arrival, Vice President Mahama said the meeting discussed security and conflicts in the Sahel zones, international cooperation, the global credit crunch and support for agriculture among SENSAD members.


The meeting also discussed the pending Africa Union summit to be held in Libya, he added.
