NPP has lost its Powers-NDC Propaganda Secretary
Audrey Micah, Ghanadot

Accra, Dec 23, Ghanadot - The Propaganda Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Kwetey has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of making use of age old tricks of fear and deception in an attempt to win the presidential run-off scheduled for December 28.

According to him, the NPP has lost all the power it needed to have assured the destruction of the NDC thus the use of deception to get the job done has become necessary in their desperation to retain power.

“What Akufo-Addo and his desperate team are doing at the moment is a modification of the same systematic lies and fabrication that have characterised NPP’s tenure over the last eight years.”

To him, the NPP has shown beyond any reasonable doubt that they are bent on permanently putting the NDC to rest in order to retain power, but they will never succeed as the NDC is now more revived than before to compete with them and be the ones to rather enter the Golden Jubilee House.

He said the current hit list propagated by the NPP is not something new to the party as people go about spreading lies to weaken the chances of the party to win the elections and that any time the NPP is desperate, they resort to 419 tricks in order to endure.

“The current hit list is no different from the cock and bull assassination plot cooked by Kweku Baako, the leader of the NPP media mafia that Victor Smith was planning to kill him. The NPP 419 hit list is no different from the fabricated lie by Egbert Faibille that NDC gurus were plotting to kill NDC’s Haruna Iddrisu.”

He maintained that the candidate of the NPP rather believes in putting his needs first before the country and its people and that “The conduct of Akufo-Addo at the last NPP congress shows that even when it comes to party, the man’s belief is me first, party second.”

According to him in connivance with Lord Commey, NPP’s National Organiser, Akufo-Addo’s team deliberately made up the lie that Paul Afoko, a close correlate of Alan Kyerematen was doling-out dollars to delegates at the party’s congress.

“It did not matter Akufo-Addo that this was a lie, it did not matter to him that this lie could have caused the death of innocent Paul Afoko. The only thing that Akufo-Addo cared about was how that vicious lie would turn the minds of delegates away from Alan Kyerematen and enable him win no matter the cost.”

He called on Ghanaians to be more alert and vigilant during the voting process so that together, the election would be peaceful and transparent.
