Asunafo NDC denies brutalizing NPP members

Goaso (B/A), April 22, Ghanadot/GNA – The Asunafo constituency leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have denied that the Party’s supporters brutalized some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Kukuom.

At a press conference at Kukuom, Mr Danso Fleance, NDC constituency secretary, said it was unfortunate that “brutalities meted to some members of the NPP at a press conference were attributed to NDC supporters”.

He stated that the NPP had demanded the revocation of the appointment of Mr. Eric Opoku as Deputy Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, saying he was using his position to intimidate NPP supporters in the constituency.

Mr. Fleance described the statement by the NPP as “untrue and uncalled for”.
